If you’ve read the first part of our Credit Restoration Tutorial, you’ll already know that you are going to be writing a lot of letters. You can do a quick search and find many examples of templates to be used for credit repair. We would advise you to take a little time and write your own, unique credit restoration letters. It’s really important that the credit bureaus and your creditors know that they are dealing with a real person and not a letter that’s been generated by credit restoration software.
That being said, there are a few tips that you should keep in mind.
The first letter that you will write as part of your credit restoration process will be a letter designed to get inaccurate information removed. It’s important that you do follow a business letter format. If you have documentation that the information is incorrect, it wouldn’t hurt to include photocopies of that paperwork.
